Imagine the uplifting sounds of 1,000 Mancunians singing the lyrics “what have you done today to make you feel proud?” in the middle of a cathedral. Well, you don’t need to just imagine it; you can be part of this crowd next month as the distinct vocals of Heather Small fill Manchester Cathedral. Just over 23 years to the day since the release of Proud, Heather Small – one of the most successful British soul singers, and former lead singer in the band M People – will be performing live on May 26.
The concert comes from the team behind Manchester 360º, which champions venues with a 360-degree element, and an array of genres, including disco, electric, and dance music. Throughout this show, the unmistakable vocals of Heather Small will fill the room.
What can you expect at the Heather Small concert?
90s icons M People enjoyed a decade-long career with hits such as One Night In Heaven, Moving On Up, and Search For The Hero, selling over 10 million records worldwide, and performing in countless venues all over the globe.
