This week, our dreams came true, as Harry Styles finally announced a show in Manchester. The gig at Co-op Live on March 6th will celebrate the release of his fourth studio album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally‘, but the twist? It’s a one night only show, in a 23,500-capacity arena – which he could easily sell out 30 times over.
Tickets for Harry Styles at Co-op Live are therefore VERY hot, and at £20 you can bet it won’t just be the Harry girls in Manchester going for them – so he’s opted for a ‘ticket request’ system… but what exactly is one of those?
What is the ticket request system being used for Harry Styles in Manchester?

The Ticketmaster request system isn’t actually new. The likes of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande have all used it to allocate tickets for large scale tours, but Harry is using it in this instance to ensure high-in-demand tickets are fairly sold.
If an artist is running a ticket request, they’ll invite fans to request tickets so you don’t have to compete in a first-come, first-served sale – you can take your time to review the available options and request the right tickets for you. All you will need to do is select which shows you’re interested in, the type of ticket you want and your payment details.
If the tickets you request can be fulfilled your card will be charged and instructions will be emailed to you to access them in the Ticketmaster App, but of course, submitting a request doesn’t guarantee tickets.
Requesting tickets
To request tickets, follow these steps:
- Visit the artist’s request page.
- Select which shows you’re interested in and the type of ticket you want.
- Add your payment details.
Your card won’t be charged at this time, but a temporary fee of £1 might be charged to your card to validate your request.

Is there a ticket limit?
In the case of Harry Styles in Manchester, there is a strict ticket limit of two per person, due to the nature of the one night only concert.
What happens after I submit a request?
After the request window has closed, you’ll get an email confirming if any of your requested tickets have been fulfilled. If fulfilled, your card will be charged, and you’ll get an email to let you know – at that point, you can view your order in your Ticketmaster Account. All sales are final and refunds will not be available.
If the tickets within your request can’t be fulfilled, your card won’t be charged. There may be other other opportunities to purchase tickets – such as successful requests falling through – which you can find on the Ticketmaster event page.
@secretmanchester Harry Styles has announced a one-night-only show in Manchester – and tickets are just £20. Instead of the usual online queuing, ticket requests will be allocated to those who sign up tomorrow (Friday 5th) #manchester #manchesteruk #thingstodoinmanchester #harrystyles #music
What if I don’t like the tickets I get?
Tickets are allocated by the Event Organiser to maximize the number of successful requests, and your card will be charged at the time if any of your requested tickets are fulfilled. All sales are final.
