It’s not lost on us that it has finally been warm here in Manchester, and after Storm Dave, we feel like we deserve it. It’s not just spring weather though, with Greater Manchester becoming unseasonably warm, and today (April 8) is set to be the hottest day of the year so far – getting up to 21°C by 3pm.
Since we like to be dramatic, we’ve had a look at popular holiday hotspots, and Greater Manchester is forecast to be hotter than Spain’s gorgeous south and east coast, and some of the Balearic Islands at that – meaning Manchester will surpass the likes of Barcelona, Ibiza and Málaga. This Spanish climbs will struggle to get above 18°C, with Málaga coming under a dark cloud, with plenty of rain and staying around 15°C/16°C.
