Gooey is taking over Manchester.
Following a year of incredible success in Manchester’s uber-cool Northern Quarter, Gooey has widened its net across Manchester, opening a brand new kiosk at Hatch, Oxford Road.
Known for their ‘insta-famous’ cookies and doughnuts, the drool-worthy bakery takes its inspiration from the Big Apple – baking huge, chunky cookies fresh daily, as well as brioche doughnuts stuffed with an array of fillings. The treats have become a bit of a cult purchase over the past year, attracting queues around the block still today.
The new kiosk marks Gooey’s second site, with their first permanent site open at Ducie Street Warehouse near Piccadilly station, and joins a number of brand new traders at Hatch’s quirky shipping container complex which resides under Mancunian Way.
Serving a creative, ever-changing menu of cookies, doughnuts and soft-serve ice cream, guests can enjoy classic flavours such as chocolate chip cookies and raspberry jam doughnuts, with seasonal specials previously including a hot cross bun-inspired cookie, a blueberry pancake cookies and a toffee apple doughnut.
The new kiosk will be stocked up Wednesday-Sunday from 12pm-6pm, or until sell-out (due to the fresh nature of their stock). The kiosk can be accessed from Oxford Road, or enjoyed as part of Hatch’s incredible al fresco dining and drinking space.
