Attention all ghosts and ghouls, witches and werewolves, headless horsemen and…Harley Quinns?
Festival of the Dead has set its fiery gaze on Manchester once more. The touring Halloween show will return to the city on November 6th, treating the crowds to an explosive fusion of jaw-dropping circus performances and vibrant carnival processions, all set to dancefloor-filling club music.
You’ll want to start planning your costumes now and don’t hold back. This extravaganza of dark delights welcomes the weird, wonderful and downright wicked with open arms. Vampires don’t even need to request entry to step foot over the threshold and there’ll be no sign of skin-scorching sun when the event kicks off at 10pm.
When you arrive under the cover of darkness to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre you’ll be sure to encounter all manner of horrifying sights; from giant monster puppets roaming the venue to plumes of fire shooting from the mouths of death-defying performers. Festival of the Dead has no shortage of entertainment to keep the party going til the early hours. One moment you’ll gazing up at the heart-stopping acrobatics, the next you’ll be busting moves among the crowds and head banging to shredding guitar solos.
Make sure to bring your ID as this event is only for people over the age of 18. Not only will you get your Halloween fix here, but also a long-awaited chance to let your hair down for a night of clubbing. The pumping soundtrack ranges from hardcore rock and metal to electronic music with a dark twist – delivered by a variety of DJs and a live band.
