Sometimes we forget that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Unlike a bruise that may gradually heal and fade away, our mental wellbeing cannot simply do the same thing, but talking about it makes for a great start. Luckily, Self Space and Feel Good Club are here to lend a listening ear.
Since launch, high street therapy service Self Space have made it their mission to make access to therapy defiantly straightforward with no waitlists, availability seven days a week with over 70 qualified therapists across sites in London, Manchester and nationwide virtually. For World Mental Health Awareness Day this year, Self Space is partnering with their lovely friends Feel Good Club by taking over the Manchester space on Monday 10th October and offering free 30 minute therapy sessions to those curious and in need of a good chat with a qualified person.
1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health condition at some point in our lives. The conversation and call for action has never been more important. After launching the world’s first mental health service on the high street this year, Self Space is opening the doors to the therapy rooms and inviting you in for World Mental Health Awareness Day.
There are many barriers to accessing mental health support, most of them well-known like six-month waitlists or limited finances, others less so, like a fear of the unknown, or not feeling quite ‘low enough’. All barriers Self Space are working hard to navigate with no waitlists, flexible bookings seven days a week and community workshops.
The Self Space mission is simple, offering straightforward access to therapy. Across their locations, the flagship in Shoreditch and a pop-up with Manchester partners Feel Good Club, Self Space are opening up free 30-minute sessions with their team of qualified experts offering an opportunity to take a moment to pause, reflect, reconnect and find out what therapy is all about. Self Space will be opening over 100 sessions across both locations and you can book your session here.
Find the Self Space pop-up at Feel Good Club, 26-28 Hilton Street, M1 2EW, on Monday 10th October from 7.30am-9.30pm.
