Attracting lager lovers in their droves last summer, Camden Town Brewery has announced the return of its epic Tank Party – a nationwide event that allows beer fans to try fresh beer straight from the brewery tank. Heading back on tour again for 2022, the brewery is set to embark upon a hoppy adventure, stopping off at Manchester’s Escape to Freight Island later this month.
Bringing the ‘freshest Unfiltered Hells Lager’ directly from their original brewery in Camden, guests will be able to experience the nationally loved beer like never before, as the team lugs their tanks up and down the country as part of the special event.
23,000 pints of the lager will head up and down the country as part of the Tank Party tour, with tap takeovers at each venue in store promising cold pints of Pale Ale and Off Menu IPA, too.
If that wasn’t all, Mancs attending the party this June can also expect top-class entertainment courtesy of Escape to Freight Island, DJ sets and bands, alongside delicious street food from Carnival, London’s very own Voodoo Rays (who ETFI frequents will know well already!) and Madre – who are currently in the process of opening their first-ever bricks-and-mortar restaurant at Kampus.
Holly Gibson, Head of Brand Activations & Experiences at Camden Town Brewery, said: “After taking Tank Party across the country for the very first time last year, we were overwhelmed by the response and can’t wait to get back on the road for the 2022 Tank Party Tour.
“Working for a brewery, we get the awesome experience of drinking straight from the brewery tanks, the freshest beer you’ll ever try. That’s one of the reasons we started Tank Party 10 years ago, inviting Camden fans to share this experience with us by enjoying the freshest Unfiltered Hells direct from the tanks.”
