easyJet has today (January 22) announced the launch of another new route for summer 2026 from Manchester Airport, with seats now on sale. The new route will connect Manchester and the North West with Bari, situated on Italy’s Adriatic coast.
easyJet has been growing in Manchester, and this summer launched new routes to Izmir, Kalamata, Larnaca, Madrid and Rennes. The latest new route means easyJet will now connect customers in the region with 85 routes throughout the UK, Europe and North Africa.

When do flights from Manchester to Bari launch?
The new connection from Manchester to Bari, which is approximately a 3-hour flight, will start on July 3 and operate on Mondays and Fridays throughout the summer.
easyJet holidays has also launched packages to Bari, inclusive of flights, hotel, 23kg luggage per person and transfers. Travellers can choose from a range of different hotels and secure their holiday with a low deposit of just £60 per person.

What is Bari famous for?
Bari is a historic port city in southern Italy, famous for its charming old town (Bari Vecchia) and its vibrant seafront promenade, which is the longest of its kind in Italy. A visit here means wandering the narrow streets of the old quarter, relaxing along the Lungomare promenade with views of the sea, exploring medieval castles and churches, and tucking into great food.
The southern Italian spot is also famed for the Basilica di San Nicola housing St. Nicholas’ relics (Santa Claus), delicious local foods like Orecchiette pasta and Focaccia Barese, the historic Teatro Petruzzelli, and its role as a major port connecting to the Balkans and Greece. The city also offers visitors a gateway to the beautiful region of Puglia, home to iconic sights such as Trulli of Alberobello (UNESCO World Heritage conical stone houses), Lecce (famous for its stunning Baroque architecture and Ostuni (a whitewashed hill town known as the “White City”).
