British music icons Duran Duran are summoning all Halloween enthusiasts to show up, dress up, and celebrate All Hallows’ Eve in style in Manchester. For one night only, on Friday 31st October 2025, fans can expect an exclusive Halloween gig at Co-op Live in Manchester filled with the essential hits, alongside rarely-played songs from the Duran Duran crypt.
Now a highly anticipated annual tradition, The Danse Macabre Halloween Party was originally conceptualised at a fabled October 31st gig for the ages in 2022 at the Wynn Theatre, Las Vegas. Now that special night is immortalised across 13 songs on the band’s 16th studio album, Danse Macabre – a spectacular record threading together new music, themed covers, and darkly reimagined versions of Duran Duran’s classic songs.
The unique Co-op Live show will mark the band’s first UK Halloween party, after a sold-out Madison Square Garden performance in 2024. The band are currently touring their live show in stadiums and arenas across Europe after a major appearance at the 75th annual Sanremo Music Festival – a full circle moment 40 years after their debut there in 1985.
Speaking ahead of the show, keyboardist Nick Rhodes said: “We are devilishly delighted to announce that we are bringing our annual Halloween extravaganza to the UK for the first time. It will be a unique, themed show unlike any of our other performances, overflowing with shocks and surprises — so even we do not know what may happen on the night… We invite you to dress for the occasion and Danse Macabre with us at Co-op Live in Manchester on October 31st.”
Frontman and lead vocalist Simon Le Bon added: “I’m so excited to be coming to Manchester for this special Halloween concert. In fact, I’m thrilled — and, frankly, a little terrified!”
Duran Duran have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, scored 18 American hit singles and 21 UK Top 20 tunes, making them one of the most successful and influential bands of all time. They have also been honoured with eight lifetime achievement awards, two GRAMMYs, two BRITs, and two Ivor Novellos, one of which was for their Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
The news of the 2025 Halloween show launch follows a series of landmark achievements for the band, including their 10th UK Top 5 album Danse Macabre, sold-out UK and US arena tours, headlining Latitude Festival 2024, performing at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace, closing the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in their hometown of Birmingham, and their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
