And it’s all for a good cause!
Helping us to shantay and stay at home, a whole host of Ru Paul’s Drag Race icons are taking part in an insane live stream event this weekend, bringing their live show Werq The World, hosted by Bianca Del Rio and Lady Bunny, directly to you. The show has already visited 95 cities across 28 countries since its launch and now, fans can enjoy the antics in the comfort of their own home.
Like that wasn’t reason enough to get excited, hold on to your wigs squirrel friends, because they’ll also be bringing a ton of Queens with them for the occasion – with performances from Drag Race faves such as Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, Alysa Edwards and Miss Vaaaaaanjie Vanessa Mateo herself. Yasss, queen!
The Queens will come together for the ultimate global live show all in the name of charity, with 100% of proceeds supporting local drag performers who have lost their income due to the current pandemic. The performances will take place in empty venues across the United States, providing the best entertainment and production value possible for viewers – giving the illusion you’re right there with your favourite performers.
So get your best sassy outfits out, grab a drink and sissy that walk, Kitty Girls, because it all kicks off this Saturday night (May 2) with viewers advised to get ready for showtime at 12.45am (early Sunday morning). Tickets cost just £10.50, and you can access the stream for 48 hours after the live feed takes place.
