Get ready for a Halloween ‘pawty’ like no other.
These days, the true meaning of Halloween seems to have been lost. It’s all about adults getting battered in bunny ears and kids getting drunk on sugar in cute costumes when it should really be about dressing dogs up in cute costumes.
So if you love dogs in dinosaur costumes (or any costumes) as much as we do, you need to get yourself down to The Mog and Dog Squad’s Halloween party on October 28. The cafe owners have promised a spooktacular ‘pawty’ where they’ll be serving pumpkin spiced lattes for owners and Halloween pupcakes for their four-legged friends.
Dogs will be able to take part in a fancy dress competition, apple bobbing and trick for treat – with medals, treats and prizes up for grabs. There will also be props and a Halloween backdrop to capture those Instagram-worthy photos!
The Mog and Dog Squad Cafe, which gives dog owners and dog lovers the chance to grab a coffee and a slice of cake for themselves, and something from the dedicated doggy menu for their four-legged friend, opened in Ashton Road, Denton last month and has already become a fixture in the town. The party will be open to dog owners and lovers, is free to attend and will take place from 10am – 2pm.
