The park will open a Frozen-themed area and a Marvel land, complete with Spider-Man ride.
For the first time in forever, Frozen fans will be able to visit the kingdom of Arendelle, complete with snow-capped mountains, shimmering lake, themed restaurant and a shop (which is bound to be having a big summer blowout).
There’ll also be a whole host of excellent attractions, including those all-important character encounters where guests will have the opportunity to meet Anna, Elsa, Olaf and more familiar faces.
Frozen land is currently a bit of a fixer-upper, but there’s still plenty of Frozen-themed fun to be had at the park, including a new Frozen show starring Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven (from January 11 until May 3 2020).
And an interactive music experience where guests will be invited to sing and dance with Anna, Kristoff and Sven before stepping into Elsa’s ice palace to sing Let It Go (November 17, 2019).
Disney hasn’t announced the opening date for Frozen land yet, but has teased that the land will be opened in ‘the coming years’.
The park will also be opening a new Marvel-themed area, complete with Spider-Man ride. Avengers Campus promises to immerse guests in action-packed adventures with incredible attractions, heroic encounters and new restaurants and could be open as early as 2021.
And those who want to eat, drink and sleep Marvel will soon be able to stay in a Marvel-themed hotel, decked out in the finest Marvel-themed artwork.
Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is inspired by a New York art gallery and will pay tribute to the city that is home to many iconic Marvel Super Heroes (as well as the artists who created them).
Guests will be able to book Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel as of November 5, 2019. The Hotel is expected to open in summer 2020.
