This is the greatest show!
Love them or hate them, there’s no denying that the musical has seen a surge in popularity over the last few years.
Not that there was ever a time when people didn’t love musicals (Grease megamix anyone?), but there’s been a noticeable increase in public appreciation of the genre and its soundtracks. And it’s all thanks to the likes of La La Land, A Star Is Born and, of course, The Greatest Showman.
And on January 11 The Deaf Institute in Grosvenor Street will be celebrating all things musical with a club night dedicated to soundtracks from much-loved musicals, stage shows and Disney films. The night will run from 11pm until 3am and organisers are promising songs from:
The Greatest Showman / Grease / La La Land / Sound Of Music / A Star Is Born / High School Musical / Wicked / Book Of Mormon / The Little Mermaid / Hamilton / West Side Story / The Lion King / Beauty & The Beast / Moana / Chicago / Mamma Mia / Cats and many more!
Tickets are available here and are priced from £5.50.
