The luxury hotel is set to transform its waterside terrace with a £1m investment.
Summer is officially looming, and the Dakota Hotel is preparing to be one of the best al-fresco spots in the city.
Transforming their outdoor terrace with an extensive refurb, the makeover will be officially unveiled this spring. The new design will mean that the idyllic spot can be utilised year-round, come rain or shine, with state-of-the-art external heaters and retractable canopies for both the roof and the sides.
The spot’s new look will complement the hotel’s restaurant bar, Champagne Room and Cigar Garden and serve as the hotel’s go-to spot for al fresco dining and drinking.
The redesign will be similar to the hotel’s signature, modern style, with minimal and contemporary details throughout.
Speaking of the redesign, general manager, Matt Townley has said:
“We are continuing to enhance and invest in Dakota Manchester, to ensure we are offering guests an unparalleled experience in the city. The terrace will bring a new element to the hotel, allowing for private events, drinks receptions and al fresco dining – when the sun is shining! Dakota Manchester focuses on providing an outstanding experience and service for guests, and the terrace gives us another space to showcase what Dakota is all about.”
Dakota Hotel houses 137 rooms and guests can visit the restaurant and terrace without a room reservation. Dakota Hotel, 29 Ducie St, Manchester, M1 2JL.
