The Co-op Live announcements are still coming in thick and fast, with anyone who’s anyone chomping at the bit to play the newest (and biggest) Manchester venue. Now, UK garage icon Craig David has announced his brand new Commitment UK arena tour for February 2025, with special guest Lemar, coming to Co-op Live in Manchester on Friday 14 February − what a Valentine’s treat.
Kicking off in Leeds’ First Direct Arena on 2 February 2025, the 11-date tour will see Craig perform his eclectic and much-loved discography to fans across the UK. On the tour, Craig said: “I can’t wait to bring my band back to the UK for my 2025 Commitment arena tour! Looking forward to having a party and mixing up the classics and maybe something new…”
Since bursting onto the scene with critically acclaimed debut album, Born To Do It, a genre-defining record that established Craig David as one of the UK’s most beloved artists, Craig has since remained at the helm of his own unique, authentically British sound.
Making waves across the globe as the voice of one of the most pivotal eras in UK music, bringing garage from the underground and to the forefront of the mainstream, and becoming one of the most successful artists in UK chart history. Expect to hear some of Craig’s biggest hits on the tur, including Rewind, 7 Days and Fill Me In, celebrating the good old days and new material alike.
Opening for Craig for the entirety of this tour will be Lemar. One of the most successful British male artists of the last two decades, Lemar has seven UK Top 10 singles and has sold over two million albums worldwide. He’ll be performing a collection of his hits from the last 20 years such as If There’s Any Justice and Dance (With U), and is of course fresh from coming third in the last series of ITV’s The Masked Singer (we assume he’ll leave his cricket costume at home…).
