Fancy living in your own Sci-Fi movie?
Sure, 2020 has definitely felt like one already – but if you have a strong desire to take on a storyline that’s more aligned with Stranger Things than Contagion (and at this point, we really can’t blame you), then we’ve got just the spot.
Nestled in a land far away in Tenby, Wales – this unique campsite is home to its very own flying saucer, which you can willingly climb aboard (without the risk of being probed).
And its the ultimate staycation for those looking for something a little more on the unique side, with the saucer including a double bed, two single beds (which also convert into sofas) and a dining space. You’ll need to climb aboard the steps to enter it, before kicking back and relaxing in a world of your own. Not only that, but you’ll also stumble upon a gaming monitor, too, with classic games such as Space Invaders available to play.
Elsewhere on the site, the creative owners have converted an Etihad Airbus and a private jet into fun accommodation – and it’s bound to fill the international travel shaped hole in our lives following the pandemic.
The private jet – or the Jet Star as they call it – consists of a cabin with a double bed, as well as its original cabin seating and cockpit which date back to the 70s. And if that wasn’t enough already, it even has its own bar. Nothing like glamping in style, huh?
The Etihad plane – known as the Arabian Nights Airbus – also retains a number of its original features, with a ‘trolley dolly’ style kitchen, comfy sofa bed area and two single beds for extra guests.
Naturally, the quirky camping is regularly booked up – however, there are some 2020 dates still available over on their website here.
