Laughterama, Manchester’s biggest comedy festival, is set to return to Castlefield Bowl this September with five nights of star-studded open-air comedy. This year’s line-up includes stand-up comedy legend Jack Dee, Taskmaster sensation Bridget Christie, Primetime Emmy nominee Michelle Wolf, national treasures Sara Pascoe and Chris McCausland, plus queen of ventriloquy Nina Conti, to name just a few headliners.
With only two weeks to go, tickets for shows featuring BAFTA winner Stewart Lee, Netflix idol Fern Brady, and Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed have all sold out. Fans are advised to act quickly and snap up the final tickets for the weekend shows, starring viral sensation Red Richardson, Starstruck creator Rose Matafeo, Last One Laughing’s Harriet Kemsley, festival fave John Robins, plus Manchester’s home-grown talents Stephen Bailey and Rachel Fairburn, alongside many, many more.
Laughterama welcomes over 10,000 comedy-lovers each year
Each show presents a compilation of the leading lights and breakthrough talent in stand-up, paired with all your favourite bevs at the bars, plus a full menu curated by Manchester’s street-food scene – all making this five-night fiesta a star in the city calendar. Running from September 2–6, Laughterama is produced by the sibling team, Will Briggs and Cass Randolph, who are behind a series of successful comedy festivals running annually across London and the South.
The team first arrived in Castlefield Bowl in 2022 with a series of sell-out shows starring James Acaster, Aisling Bea, Josh Widdicombe and many more. The comedy festival welcomes over 10,000 comedy-lovers each year from Manchester and beyond.
