Sundays never looked so good.
Launching in the eye of the storm of the pandemic, locals haven’t had much chance to enjoy new bars on the scene, in particular, Cherry Jam, which opened just last October amidst the government’s turbulent tiering system. But now, making up for lost time, the retro-themed cocktail destination has announced some pretty good news – and it involves endless cocktails and some seriously tasty grub.
Teaming up with Ate Days A Week for a new weekly event, attendees will be able to enjoy 90 minutes of free-flowing Summer Spritz, Bloody Mary’s and ice cold beers – alongside the ultimate hangover cures, such as breakfast muffins, bagels and pies, the latter of which are stuffed with your typical breakfast items, such as sausages, bacon and beans, before being topped with brown sauce gravy.
Continuing with Ate Days A Week’s signature music-inspired approach to their grub, guests can expect creatively named dishes including the Bake Me Up Before You Go-Go pie, Hole Lotta Love bagels, and Benny & The Jets Eggs Benedict.
Inside the venue, guests can enjoy retro-inspired decor at every turn – with plush velvet furnishings in bright colours, neon lights, 70s brown murals, as well as an eclectic mix of posters, artwork and retro American influences throughout. It’s a pretty one-of-a-kind look for a Manchester bar – with many others opting for your typical, Northern Quarter-esque bare brick with industrial pipes and stripped-back decor – so it gives a slice of a little something different to try next time you have a weekend free.
Costing £25pp for bottomless non-alcoholic drinks and £30pp for bottomless alcoholic drinks, tickets are available here, and you can book your place on their next bottomless brunch here. The event launches on Sunday 15th August, and is set to take place on a weekly basis.
