Come with me, and you’ll see a world of pure imagination. Well, for a couple of hours at least. Confirmed to roll into Manchester Violet Beauregarde-style next month, the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical will bring the iconic Roald Dahl story to life on-stage – including a number of hits from the favoured film from the 70s.
Based on a blend of the famous novel by Roald Dahl and the iconic Warner Bros movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory The Musical reinvents the tale of Charlie Bucket for the stage, unravelling the story of how he meets the enigmatic Willy Wonka at his equally mysterious chocolate factory.
Fans won’t be disappointed as the show leads them through a number of famous moments from the story, with fan favourite characters, of course, along for the ride including Willy Wonka himself, Veruca Salt and our Oompah Loompah friends.
Kicking off on July 4 at Palace Theatre Manchester, fans will have to act fast if they want to get their hands on a (not-so-golden) ticket for the show, as it’ll only be sticking around until July 30.
Tickets are on sale now, and you can get yours here.
