What started as two childhood besties singing covers on YouTube in 2014 has since evolved into Anavitória — an award-winning pop-folk duo that have taken the world by storm. Following the release of their album Esquinas in 2024, the soft-singing pair will be taking to the stage inside Manchester Cathedral on 21 June as part of the Candlelight Original Sessions series. Under the warm glow of thousands of candles, Anavitória’s soothing harmonies will shine as they swoon with hits like “Trevo (Tu)”, “Fica” and many more.
Candlelight Original Sessions: Anavitória
Anavitória are two Brazilian besties hailing from Araguaína. After stirring up excitement for years online, they finally released their debut self-titled album back in 2016. Their breakthrough single “Trevo (Tu)” catapulted the group into stardom, winning them their first of four Latin Grammys. Their harmonious vocals, poetic lyrics and signature blend of Brazilian folk and pop have enamoured fans from Brazil and beyond, having sold out venues in Spain, France, Ireland and the UK.
Now, for one night only, Anavitória are coming to Manchester to perform their biggest hits amid a sea of twinkling candles. While the set list is still under wraps, you can expect to hear songs like “Ai, Amor”, “Trevo (Tu)” and “Agora Eu Quero Ir” as well as additions from their most recent release Esquinas. Take your seat inside the 13th-century Manchester Cathedral and soak in the atmosphere of this unforgettable Anavitória concert illuminated by the enchanting flicker of candlelight. Divirta-se!
