Over a decade on from the release of his debut album, Ed Sheeran is continuing to go from strength to strength. With a hoard of awards under his belt, not to mention countless iconic collaborations, his music is pretty recognisable and his talent well known. However, this March, you’ll be able to hear the music of Ed Sheeran in a new way: performed by a pianist, a violist and percussion players at a Candlelight concert. You Don’t wanna miss out – tickets are available now.
On March 18, Halle St Peter’s will be transformed into an even more intimate venue, illuminated by hundreds of glowing candles, surrounding the live performers. Hearts Don’t Break Around Here, in fact, they’ll do the opposite; guests will fall in love with reimagined renditions of Ed Sheeran’s music as Tim Abel, Matthew Glossop, and a group of percussion players perform their 60-minute set. You can expect to hear hits from the early days, like The A Team, all the way through to those currently in the charts, like Bad Habits.
Grade II-listed Halle St Peter’s makes for the ideal venue for this enchanting night of music. The former church hosts a variety of choir rehearsals, recordings, weddings and other events that celebrate music. This Ed Sheeran Candlelight concert will have two shows on the night – one at 6pm, the other at 8.30pm – so you can enjoy a dinner date before or after the performance. Now, what are you waiting for? Book your ticket today – you’ll be Happier for it.
