There are some who have followed Bring Me The Horizon through their many different eras as they moved towards becoming the festival-headliner act they are today. There are others who are pre-Sempiternal and nothing else. And there are a smaller (but almost as loud) collection who die on the hill of Count Your Blessings, their sonically guttural debut with a scattering of eyebrow-raising song titles, being their finest hour.
All of these parties will, therefore, be catered for when the band take to Manchester’s B.E.C. Arena on Friday, July 10 to perform Count Your Blessings in its entirety to mark its 20th anniversary. The show comes in conjunction with Outbreak festival, and takes place at the same venue as the festival in Manchester, which runs on June 26-28.
Alongside the news of their performance of Count Your Blessings in full, Bring Me The Horizon also shared news that the record would be re-recorded to celebrate its birthday. This will come in the form of Count Your Blessings: Repented, which is set to drop on July 10 – the same day as the concert.
A full lineup for Bring Me The Horizon x Outbreak event has been announced, with Static Dress, Dying Wish, Heriot, Rolo Tomassi, Car Underwater, and Still in Love joining them on the day. The 2006-style poster for the show features a blurb on each band, with Bring Me The Horizon’s reading ‘scrappy deathcore played by a bunch of hair farmers from Sheffield, UK’.
When do tickets to see Bring Me The Horizon playing ‘Count Your Blessings’ in full go on sale?
Tickets to see Bring Me The Horizon at Manchester’s B.E.C. Arena with Outbreak Festival go on general sale this Friday, April 17 at 10am. There will also be a pre-sale kicking off this week for those who pre-order Count Your Blessings: Repented by 3pm tomorrow (April 14), which you can do so here. If the show’s poster didn’t fill with nostalgia, then their pre-order site surely will – it’s based on MySpace! How very 2006 this is in every way possible.
