The new bar is coming to Deansgate.

Widening their net in Manchester city centre, Northern hospitality experts Arc Inspirations are bringing a brand new bar to Deansgate – joining their existing Manahatta and Banyan bars, which have proved incredibly popular with Mancs.

Set to open this November, BOX will open at 125 Deansgate (opposite John Rylands Library), spread across the ground and first floor of an exciting new build development that fronts the busy street. The expansion of BOX will mark its first venture outside of its home city Leeds.

The new spot aims to bring a whole new sports bar experience to the city, providing a place to watch games, eat good grub and catch up with mates. Described as a “game-changing, high quality sports bar”, the venue will host a number of large screens, giving a great sports viewing experience – and they also plan to put on live music and bottomless brunches, too (similarly to their other ventures).

Other planned events include ‘bandaoke’ – where guests can sing to a live band – and apres-ski style bands who’ll be perfect for the winter months.

Arc Inspirations CEO Martin Wolstencroft, said: “It’s been a challenging few months for the sector and for our business, but we’re now looking with excitement to the future. Manchester has always been a key location for us and when the time is right and consumer confidence fully returns, we will debut our BOX brand in the city. The opening fits perfectly with our strategy of opening in clusters with complementary brands and we’re confident our guests in Manchester will love the BOX experience.”

Originally earmarked to open earlier this year, the grand opening has been delayed as a result of the pandemic, however, Mancs can now ‘get your shuffle pucks at the ready’ as it finally arrives this November.
