Manchester’s first Detroit-style pizzeria is officially open, and it looks bloody delicious. Leaving the pizza to their lovely little Ancoats spot, the new Arndale Market stall serves a variety of fresh pasta with different toppings – and yes, burrata is on the menu. Check it out on your next lunch break… Piazza MCR, Arndale Market, 49 High St, Manchester, M4 3AH.

Pizzas are sold as the whole 22″ or by the slice… But honestly, who’d even bother with just one slice? Voodoo Rays, Escape to Freight Island, Baring St, Manchester, M1 2PZ.
