Ice cream lovers’ prayers have finally been answered!

Arguably one of the best parts of inhaling a tub of ice cream is digging for the chunky treats, and now Ben & Jerry’s has gifted ice cream fans everywhere with their latest product.

Taking the best part of their ever-popular Cookie Dough ice cream, B&J fans can now pick up a bag of the cookie dough chunks without the ice cream.

The product has been spotted in ASDA stores for £3.99 a bag, and B&J has promised that the product will give Cookie Dough fans the same great taste they’d expect in the tubs.

The new treats come in 170g bags and just like the rest of the brand’s delicious desserts, can be found in the freezer aisle. The cookie dough pieces are to be kept frozen, so you can expect the same experience (but better) when chowing them down during your next Netflix binge. Flavours include Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Vegan Chocolate Chip. Yum!

Flavour guru at Ben & Jerry’s, Helder Silva, has said of the new tasty treat:

“Ice cream fans have been calling out and asking us to ‘free the chunks’ for a while now, so we’re delighted to be able to give them what they want! During a test in the US, bags flew off the shelves! Now, dough fans in Europe can get a chunk of the action.”
