The Bass Music Awards 2019 are coming to Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse.
Celebrating another year of all things bass, The Bass Music Awards are coming to Victoria Warehouse on April 21 for what organisers are promising will be the biggest celebration of all things bass Manchester has ever seen.
Taking place across two hugely atmospheric rooms, the event will feature a huge line-up including genre leading superstars like Dimension, Friction + Linguistics, General Levy, Hype B2B Hazard, Guv + Eskman, Pendulum and Sub Focus.
But the start of the show is set to be the venue itself, with its spacious brick-lined rooms and industrial charm, as well as a punchy, crisp sound system organisers say it will be the perfect location for a big rave up.
The evening will kick off at 9pm, with an award ceremony to honour the best of the best in various categories from the last year. This will be followed by a delicious dinner before stars of the bass scene take to the stage to play special sets and back to backs until 4am, with MCs on hand to amp up the energy levels.
A spokesman for the event said the line-up will pack a real punch from top to bottom, starting previous award winner and London artist Dimension, who will strike his perfect balance between underground and crossover access.
Australian outfit Pendulum, who have proven to be one of the biggest acts in drum and bass over the years, with mesmerising shows and high energy, hard hitting productions that really rattle your ribs, will also play a set. Followed by bastions of the scene Hype and Hazard and multi-genre specialist Sub Focus who never fails to dazzle.
They will be followed by General Levy, one of the most in-demand MCs of his generation, and drum and bass dream team DJ Friction + MC Linguistics who will bring their unrivalled on-stage chemistry to the event.
Elsewhere there will be sets by Bristol’s Joker, who was an early dubstep innovator and the fantastic four-way team of Problem Central Ft aka Majistrate, Logan D, Eksman and Evil B, and enduring scene legend Nicky Blackmarket.
With these plus many more names playing across two rooms, the awards are set to be a must-attend event for lovers of all things bass. Tickets for The Bass Awards 2019 are available from Fever and are priced at £28. Click here to get yours.
