A Password-Protected Speakeasy Has Opened In A Secret Location In Manchester – And It’s Bring Your Own Booze

Manchester has a new secret bar!

There’s no shortage of secret bars in Manchester, but we’re also happy to welcome a new one. Especially bars like Bring & Mix, a password only BYOB speakeasy that opened last month in a secret location. The bespoke cocktail experience is set in the roaring 1920’s when prohibition had taken hold of the city and the only way to satisfy your cocktail urges was by getting the password to a secret establishment.

All you need is a bottle (or two, or three!) of your favourite spirits and the bar staff will do the rest. They’ll use a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetable juices, homemade syrups, spices, herbs, cordials, bitters, fruits, and jams to mix with your chosen tipples. Whether you want to stick with a mix you know and love, or experiment with something new the mixologists will create a cocktail perfect to you.

And If you fancy having a dry night, the staff will create you exciting mocktails so that you can still enjoy the Bring & Mix experience.

The bar, which also has premises in Southampton, allocates tables in two-hour timeslots which are priced at £20 per person. And for those wanting to go out after their Bring & Mix session, the bar offers a free bottle babysitting service where the staff will carefully look after your bottles until the following weekend. All they ask is that you collect it within one week of your visit.*

Tables are available from Fever and you’ll receive an invitation email confirming your time, date, the location of the bar and the secret password you’ll need to get in. The dress code is smart casual and sportswear is not allowed. Guests are also asked to keep their voices down (it’s a speakeasy, after all) as the venue-owners don’t want the bar to be discovered.

*Please note that bottles are left at your own risk and Bring & Mix will not be held liable against any breakages or losses.
