Now your dog can be your drinking buddy.

The Anthologist on St. Peter’s Square has launched a weekly pop-up dog cafe. The restaurant will host ‘Yappy Hour’ every Sunday, where pups will be able to sip pawsecco and dog beer while their owners indulge in the real stuff (with a 15% discount to boot)!

A spokesman for The Anthologist said:

“With the rise of things like cat cafes, we thought it was about time that the city centre got a regular dog-focused alternative. We understand that it can be a real struggle for owners to find nice places to unwind where their dogs are welcome too, so we’d like to throw our doors open to Manchester’s furry friends and make them feel right at home.”

The restaurant kicked off the event last Sunday with a launch party where dogs mingled, ate treats and sported adorable outfits from the dress-up box.
