Labrador lovers, bulldogs buffs and dalmatian devotees are invited to a date night with a difference.

The Northern Quarter’s 19 Cafe Bar will host a Doggy Date Nightwhere customers and their pups will be able to mingle and enjoy an evening of coffee, cake and doggy cuddles.

This event will take place on August 2 and is designed to help local dog owners and their hounds find companionship with fellow dog lovers.

Tickets will include prosecco on arrival (strictly for the humans, of course), a handmade cake and unlimited hot drinks all evening, as well as a doggy bag for the doggos to enjoy.

Nikita Lyle, owner of 19 Cafe Bar, said:

“We’re really excited to be hosting our first Doggy Date night event. As a dog-friendly venue, we wanted to invite people from all over Manchester to come together and meet other like-minded individuals for an evening of fun in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where no one has to leave their beloved pet at home.

“It’s an event open to everyone, so whether you’re a dog owner or just a dog lover, it’s the best way for people in the area to get to know one another and just enjoy the night – woofs and all!”
