The biggest solar eclipse since 1999 is coming a us thick and fast, set to amaze onlookers on Wednesday 12th August. If you don’t fancy the night away, surrounding areas across the Yorkshire Dales make stunning spots for viewing the solar eclipse. As long as you’re away from crowded spaces, with mostly unobstructed views, you’re likely to have a near-perfect eclipse experience – open spaces are great, hills are even better.
