Treat yourself to a classical concert by candlelight
City life can get pretty overwhelming which is why we have to seize any opportunity for a precious hour or two of zen whenever we can. And as luck would have it, two of the most beautiful churches in Manchester are offering gorgeous, candlelit concerts to soothe the soul of any stressed-out city dweller.

The concertos will be performed by the London Concertante, an orchestra popular with newbies, whose audience is made up of around of 50 per cent first-time classical concert goers and promises to leave its audience members with a smile on their faces! And those who fancy the luxury experience can treat themselves to a performance of Chopin at St Ann’s Church, complete with complimentary interval Champagne! The evening’s talented concert pianist, Warren Mailley-Smith, recently became the first British pianist to perform the complete works of Chopin from memory in one series of concerts.
