Forget the slopes.
This winter there’s no need to leave the city as Impossible’s Alpine Village will bring all the fun of a festive après-ski to the centre of Manchester. Open until the New Year, the Impossible Alpine Village is a winter destination for all ages located outdoors in the Great Northern Amphitheater, behind Impossible bar and theatre in Peter Street.
The free-entry village will be open daily from noon and visitors will be able to enjoy a whole host of seasonal experiences. Including a giant, luxury tipi and bar, decorated with thousands of shimmering lights and vintage ski memorabilia. The tipi will transport guests off-piste, providing the perfect winter setting for an unforgettable festive celebration with friends, families or for the office party. While the Instagram photo wall and alpine photo booth with giant themed props will help capture the moment.
Mini chalets will host a makers’ market from Thursday to Sunday each week, offering original gift ideas from local craft and artisan suppliers. Free scheduled activities and a play area for younger guests will take place from December 12 along with free Forest Tots session for Under 5s each Wednesday morning.
The Impossible Alpine Village is open Monday to Friday from 12 noon until late (on Wednesdays open from 10am) and Saturday and Sundays from 11am until 11pm
