‘Tis the season for festive feasting!
There are a whole host of fabulous treats on offer in Manchester this Christmas to help us celebrate the best part of the festive season, the food! And I know we say this a lot, but Albert’s festive menu really has something for everyone including a complete vegan Christmas dinner.
The vegan menu includes starters of chargrilled artichoke or wild field mushrooms on toast, with veggie black pudding, herby new potatoes and savoy cabbage for mains. And to finish, the festive feast will be followed with a very special vegan Christmas pudding. The three-course menu is available at lunchtime for £26.95 and for £29.95 at tea time.
And for meat eaters, Albert’s has their Christmas A La Carte Menu which includes rabbit gnocchi, duck satay and their famous cheese and onion pie. And a Christmas party menu available for groups of up to 25 people which includes indulgent festive dishes such as king prawn and monkfish skewer, beef short rib, Norfolk turkey with all the trimmings and of course a traditional Christmas pudding. The Christmas party menu is priced from £26.95 for three courses at lunchtime or £29.95 at tea time.
While Abert’s has a two-course menu for £12.50 which offers a more casual take on festivities and is available until 10pm every Monday throughout December (except Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve). And until 6pm Tuesday-Friday and until 4pm on Saturday.
The menu includes a wide selection of starters from mini bangers and mash to mulled baby pear salad or roasted tomato and rosemary soup. Mains include steak frites, Albert’s fish and chips, roast Norfolk turkey or apricot stuffed chicken. And guests can round off their meal by spoiling themselves with Christmas pudding, lemon and almond cheesecake or chocolate volcano.
There will also be a wide range of wine, fizz and craft beers available, as well as a specially created Christmas cocktail menu. The menus are available in the Didsbury, Worsley and Castlefield locations and can be booked via their respective websites.
