Give your honey the gift of helping a worthy cause.
The people at the Printworks are giving Mancunians the chance to adopt a worker bee, the iconic symbol of Manchester, while raising money for the Booth Centre.
The entertainment venue is home to more than 100,000 honey bees all of which are available to adopt for just £2 each. The newly adoptive parents will be able to name their bee and have their name(s) placed on a commemorative wall at the Printworks.
The Booth Centre is committed to tackling homelessness by working alongside each and every individual who comes to the centre. The staff work with them to build on their skills and strengths to enable them to move off the streets and develop a purpose; be that employment, education or positive social activities. And to develop friendships which will support them in rebuilding their lives.
There is no limit to the number of bees you can adopt and it can be for yourself, or on behalf of a family member or friend. Simply donate a minimum of £2 per bee on the Just Giving page and in the comments state what you wish to name the bee, along with the name of the adoptive parent(s), if not yourself.
