All The Freebies And Discounts That A Level Students In Manchester Can Get On Results Day

Exams can be pretty stressful and tiring for students so a little (and free) reward for all the hard work is much appreciated, luckily, a number of restaurants in Manchester are here to help put those annoying tests behind them. Whether its celebrations or commiserations, students can bag some freebies and discounts on A Level Results Day tomorrow (Thursday 14th August), most of which can be claimed with a wave of an exam results certificate. We’ve rounded up a selection of restaurants across Greater Manchester offering deals for A Level students that are pretty hard not to pass up.

1. wagamama

On A-Level Results Day, wagamama will be offering a 25% discount to students who have completed their A-Levels, including the restaurant at St Peter’s Square in Manchester. All A-Level students have to do to get involved is sign up to wagamama’s brand new loyalty programme, soul club, and show their 2025 A-Level results at a participating restaurant. Student discount increases to 25% (up from 20%) between 14 and 20 August. Available on dine-in only.

2. Frankie & Benny’s

Frankie & Benny’s is giving away free pizzas (a total of 50 free pizzas allocated to 57 restaurants per results day) to celebrate exam results day. On the big day once students get their exam grades, the Italian American restaurant will help celebrate their hard work with a free pizza. The offer entitles guests to celebrate their SQA Highers results (August 5), A Level results (August 14) and GCSE results (August 21) with either a free Margarita pizza (Gluten free & vegan available) or Pepperoni pizza (gluten free available), with the purchase of a large post-mix soft drink and proof of results in order to redeem. No code is required just mention the offer to your server and if you’re one of the lucky 50 on that day, you will get your pizza for free.

3. Bella Italia

Bella Italia is also celebrating A Level Results Day, the Italian restaurant chain is offering a free starter and a dessert for students and their whole table. A-Level and GCSE students plus guests can enjoy a celebratory meal with freebies simply by all ordering a main course or brunch dish. The proof of exam results and ID must be shown in order to receive the free starter and dessert. The offer is valid on August 14 and August 21 only.

4. Nando’s

Adding to the list of establishments offering freebies this A Level Results Day is the student favourite and popular chicken restaurant, Nando’s. Students can bag themselves a free ¼ chicken or starter (excluding Dare to Share), with a minimum spend of £7. The promotion is valid for students aged between 15-19 who are receiving their A-Level or GCSE results within 2025. This also includes A-Level & GCSE Equivalents: Scotland Lowers or Highers, National 5’s, BTEC, Junior Cert or Leaver Cert. Proof of results is required.

5. Bill’s

The restaurant chain Bill’s is also treating all 2025 leavers to a freebies on both A Level Results Day and GCSE Results Day – celebrating students will be able to claim a free dessert at either the Spinningfields venue or the Trafford Centre branch. To get your free dessert on A Level Results Day (August 14) or GCSE Results Day (August 21), all you need to do is book a table, order a main course or brunch dish and show your ID and results to the server.

6. PizzaExpress

Between Monday 4th and Sunday 17th August, 2025, you can head to PizzaExpress and celebrate A-Levels Results Day (no matter the result!) with a free dessert with your main. To claim your free dessert, simply ensure you have purchased a main, and show the team a valid UNiDAYS results day offer code. 7. Zizzi

This year, thousands of students are due to receive their exam results via an app, rather than getting the classic experience of opening an envelope, so Zizzi is keeping the experience alive and will be giving each student an envelope to open to reveal their free treat. Some results envelopes will reveal a Garlic and Mozzarella Bombe, a garlic dough ball filled with gooey mozzarella and topped with Roquito hot honey, while others promise a free starter, dessert or drink. A lucky few will get their tables’ dinner on the house, up to the value of £150. Students who receive A-Level or GCSE results in 2025, will be able to claim their envelope on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th August (A-level), or Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd August (GCSE), by showing their results.

8. Bird & Blend Tea Co.

Adding to all the A Level Results Day freebies, Bird & Blend Tea Co. is celebrating the hard work and achievements of the Class of 2025 with a free iced matcha latte, worth £4.50, for all on August 14, between 11am and 5pm. Whether the results were top of the class or a bit of a plot twist , students can celebrate their hard work with over 20 matcha flavours to choose from. One free drink is available per student when showing proof or results and student ID.
