The Trafford Centre has gone all out with its entertainment this year. From the hit Summer Social to Halloween’s Spookfest, there’s been tons of fun for the family to enjoy this year – and thankfully, it doesn’t end there.
Sending the year out with a bang with their brand new ‘Tinsel Town’, guests are invited to enjoy a whole host of festive activities – including the return of their huge fairground rides for all ages to enjoy, the world’s largest mobile bungee, and a Christmassy big wheel showcasing fantastic sights of Manchester.
Taking place outside The Orient and opposite The Great Hall entrance, guests will be able to enjoy classic festive pastimes such as ice skating inside a twinkling rink created in partnership with Hits Radio, slide down the UK’s longest toboggan slide, enjoy spectacular ice-skating shows within a heated big top, and even meet Santa Claus and his elves in the magical twinkling tipi.
Once ready to refuel, guests can retreat to the brand new Christmas-themed hangar, where they’ll find street food traders such as Oh My Glaze, Old School Dogs, The Thai Food Van, Epic Pizza, Kingdom of Sweets and Bouji Baker, with a number of seasonal dishes and Bavarian huts to explore, too.
Zoe Inman, Centre Director, said: “Tinsel Town truly is the North’s own Winter Wonderland; an experience you do not want to miss this Christmas! Combine your visit with some late-night shopping, festive events at stores such as Selfridges and John Lewis, festive music on the malls and of course, our spectacular Christmas lights.”
Tinsel Town is open now at the Trafford Centre, and you can find out more here.
