Following the opening of The Medlock Hotel at the Etihad Campus, comes a number of new hospitality venues at the £300m destination, Medlock Square. Of the dining spots opening at the Manchester entertainment hub is Little Beast, a small plates, produce-led restaurant guided by the 12 moons.

Developed by former Sexy Fish creator Laura Montana with Masterchef: The Professionals 2024 winner Daniel Merriman, the restaurant aims to celebrate the freshest local produce and the finest British ingredients at their peak, and will continue to evolve as we move into the Autumn season.
Joining Co-op Live’s Canalside bar and coffee shop, which opened last year, the Etihad Campus destination will gain a range of restaurants and bars over the coming months, as well as a ABBA-themed Mamma Mia immersive experience. Little Beast is one of the latest dining spots at Medlock Square, joining Three Rivers Brasserie & Bar and soon to be followed by Zadie’s, a Pan-Asian restaurant due to open on September 23.

Little Beast menu highlights
Highlights dishes from the opening menu include Little Beast cured trout pastrami with whipped crème fraiche, sea buckthorn & Cotswold honey jam and cheese on toast brioche finger with red onion jam, Mrs Kirkham’s cheese custard & chive. Diners can also enjoy cod loin curry sauce, squash fondant, kaffir lime, pickled cucumber & fermented English lettuce, chicken ballotine with pickled mushroom puree, roasted maitake mushroom & truffle sauce and 500g dairy cow sirloin on the bone to share served with sherry glaze, truffle & black onion butter.
