The incomparable Stevie Wonder has announced the Songs In The Key of Life Performances – 50th Anniversary Tour, a special run of performances honouring one of the most influential albums ever created. He’ll grace Manchester’s Co-op Live with a visit along the way, taking to the stage on November 8.
The iconic 1976 album ‘Songs In The Key of Life’ brought us some of the most well-known songs in music history, including Sir Duke, Isn’t She Lovely and I Wish, and of course won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
The album also went on to become Wonder’s highest charting UK record ever, peaking at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart. In a truly unique spectacle, Stevie Wonder is set to perform the seminal album in its entirety on this tour, so it’s not one to be missed.
The Manchester date is one of just five across the UK and Ireland, and accompanies European and American shows throughout the autumn and winter. At 76 years of age, Stevie Wonder is truly a legend of our time, and to see the man in the flesh is a rare treat – so we feel pretty special.
