Negroni Week 2025 is nearly upon us (September 22-28), meaning over 1,800 bars around the UK will be finding their own unique way to celebrate. Everyone knows there’s no Negroni without Campari – and to honour the occasion, many of Manchester’s best bars and restaurants are celebrating with their own twist on this iconic Campari-based aperitif – so we’ve rounded up four of our favourites for you to try. And the best part is, by getting involved in their Negroni week festivities, you’ll also be helping to support an important cause.
Campari, Italy’s iconic red aperitif, and Imbibe Magazine are once again joining forces for the 13th annual Negroni Week. Bars and restaurants around the world will celebrate the iconic cocktail and make a donation to its official charitable partner, Slow Food. Negroni Week champions the art of storytelling through creative mixology, with Campari at the very heart of the celebrations.
1. The Alchemist
A Negroni is delicious any day of the week – but when it costs just £6, it tastes even better. So be sure to make the most of the £6 Negroni happy hour at The Alchemist (all branches across the UK). It’s available from 5pm-6pm every weekday until September 29, the perfect way to celebrate Negroni Week with Campari!
2. Red Light
Be sure to stop by one of Manchester’s coolest bars to sample an incredible Negroni Month menu, dreamt up by the talented mixology team. What’s more, you can end the month of Negroni-orientated celebrations in true style, at the Negroni Week closing party on September 30.
3. Stray
Previously voted one of the UK’s top 50 cocktail bars, the team at Stray know how to make a mean Negroni. And they’re celebrating Negroni Week with Campari by dreaming up a different Negroni for each week of the month in September. Don’t miss out on delicious twists on this iconic Italian aperitif!
4. Stow
Lining you up with another fabulous Negroni Week party this September is Stow in Deansgate. This cosy, intimate cocktail bar and restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate everyone’s favourite Campari-based cocktail. And on Friday September 26 you can enjoy a night of discounted Negronis – but be sure to stop by throughout the week (September 22-28) to try their barrel-aged special.
