While we’re all couped up indoors missing the wonders of Mancunia, these talented Instagrammers and photographers are sharing their perception of the city with incredible photographs that will fulfil your desire to explore our home.

1. Northern Kaptures

A landscape and cityscape photographer, Andrew Duxbury captures some of Manchester’s most incredible views and urban scenes, with shots of the Northern Quarter that you’ll easily mistake for NYC and some amazing sights of Manchester from up top at night.

2. Andrew Aitch

Another fantastic cityscape photographer that captures Blade Runner-like snaps of our city, Andrew Aitch manages to make Manchester look like a movie set in every single shot. Think incredible architecture and incredible use of light.

3. Ad.stagram

A great account to follow if you’re missing Manchester’s street art scene, Adam Humphreys loves shooting local murals for us all to discover. You’ll find cityscapes, graffiti, interesting shop fronts and locals going about their day around the city on his account.

A colourful mix of Manchester and music, Manc Wanderer is a great account to follow if you’re looking to keep up with gigs around the city and see some gorgeous shots of our home. See the back streets of the Northern Quarter and points of interest across the city from someone else’s eyes.

The king of street art here in Manchester responsible for the David Bowie mural that’s graced Instagram 1000 times, and the Arya Stark one that popped up just in time for the Game of Thrones finale in Stevenson’s Square. Akse regularly shares images of his works, and sometimes even timelapses of him creating them.

6. Damien Daws

Ok, so don’t try this at home. But Rooftop Kings are a bunch of extremely gutsy Mancs who pull off a whole lot of daring stunts at a height. The shots are unbelievable and absolutely should not be recreated, but admired from a distance on their Instagram account.
